As a long-time dog trainer and competitor, Punny Dog was born from a desire to make high-quality hides to improve my own scent work training. Friends and family loved them, so we grew into a small business.
At Punny Dog we believe that scent work should be just as much fun for the human hiding odor as it is for the dog finding it. That's why we create clever, unexpected hides designed to make you look twice -- and make your dog sniff twice. From custom designed sticks and flowers to markers and whiteout our hides turn ordinary search environments into something a little more extraordinary. Some are sneaky, some our silly, and many are downright punny!
We also believe you shouldn't have to buy the same hide just to use it in a different setting. From that, we developed an interchangeable plug system letting you take your hides to new heights. Whether you're turning a ground hide (like a pinecone or acorn) up onto a tree to hang or bring a tulip from the fridge to the great outdoors, we have adapters that will let you modify hides you already own at a minimum cost.
